STAR Summer Transition Program

STAR Summer Transition Program: The STAR Summer Transition Program is a FREE 3-day program for university bound students. Students can face many challenges as they make the move from high school to university. STAR is designed to help ease the transition and is especially beneficial for students with learning disabilities. In the STAR program students are invited to stay in residence, at no charge to them, to participate in the total university experience. All meals and social events are also included in the program. STAR is for students who recently graduated from an Algoma District high school or will be attending an Ontario university in September of that year.
