Presenter Bios

Todd Solomon
Clinical Director, English Language Services, Kids Help Phone

Todd has been with Kids Help Phone since 2005, first as a professional counsellor and advancing to the position of Clinical Director of English Language Services. As a leader in Counselling Services, Todd provides direction and oversees the training and development of managers and counsellors in the Toronto Counselling Centre. He works to ensure that the highest possible quality of telephone and web counselling, information and referral service is delivered by the Kids Help Phone professional counsellors. Todd Solomon brings over two decades of counselling experience to the position including 15 years working with urban Aboriginal children, youth and young adults healing from addictions, violence and abuse.


Fiona O’Connor
Partnership Coordinator, Good2Talk

As Partnership Coordinator for Good2Talk, Fiona leads campus outreach on behalf of the postsecondary student helpline, working to raise awareness of the new service among college and university students, staff, and faculty across Ontario. She holds a BA in Religion and a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Concordia University, and brings several years’ experience in non-profit communications, student engagement and partnership development to her work with Good2Talk.
