CACUSS Free Webinar: Campus Mental Health

Capturing broader trends of mental health on Canadian post-secondary campuses, this webinar by the Campus Mental Health CoP presents the results of a national gap analysis. These results are based on a survey completed by more than 50 university and college directors/ heads of counselling services across the country. The webinar presents empirical answers the following 10 key questions about Canadian Campus Mental Health:

  1. What are the five most pressing psychological concerns presented by students?
  2. Which five activities which consume most time of the clinical staff?
  3. How are intakes conducted?
  4. How many hours are allocated to walk-in counselling and for what specific concerns?
  5. Is there a session limit policy for individual counselling?
  6. How embedded counselling model is being utilized?
  7. What kinds of preventative mental health programs (e.g., resilience & wellbeing-based groups, workshops, initiatives) are most commonly offered?
  8. Which specific evidence-based treatments are offered?
  9. Which specific standardized outcome measures are used to evaluate impact of counselling services?
  10. How often outcome measures are used?
