When incoming U of T Scarborough students arrive for Orientation Week in August, more than two-thirds of them will already feel at home on campus after participating in the Get Started academic orientation program. Get Started is an initiative designed by the Academic Advising& Career Centre to smooth the academic transition from high school to university. On 19 days this June, July and August, groups of students are taking part in this day-long program that acquaints them with the university experience.
