Mental Health Training
Mental health influences the well-being and success of all learners. Although there is increasing awareness of the prevalence of mental health problems among post-secondary students, many people remain uncertain as to what mental health is, why it is an important topic for students, faculty and staff, and what can be done to support mental health for all in our College community. These modules aim to increase awareness of mental health, how to recognize and respond to students in distress, and the relationship between stress and student success.
These 3 modules support the Confederation College Mental Health Working Group’s vision of a College community that is deeply conducive to transformative learning and enhances mental health and well-being.
