Student Mental Health & Well-Being Strategy

Since 2014, Student Affairs, in partnership with the Faculty of Health Sciences, has undertaken the task of examining our strengths and gaps at McMaster as we address and support the mental health needs of our students. As co-leads, Dr. Catharine Munn and Allison Drew-Hassling interviewed over 150 students, staff and faculty, reviewed existing practices, policies and literature at McMaster, and across the post-secondary sector, as well as provincially, nationally and internationally. Based upon this information and community feedback, the Student Mental Health & Well-Being Strategy has been developed with five priorities for our campus.
