London Community Foundation Grant Announcement

Last night at a special Community Vitality event, it was publicly announced that Canadian Mental Health Association, Middlesex, in partnership with USC Western; Society of Graduate Students – Western University; King’s University College; Western University; Fanshawe College – for “Bridging Community & Campus Services to Support Students’ Mental Health.”

Grant amount: $238,181 over 3 years!
 
Funded by the Foundation’s Smart & Caring Community Fund, the Community Vitality grant program strives to build a stronger and more vibrant London and Middlesex region by investing in initiatives that will move the needle on our most pressing issues.

This year we will launch the crisis clinic at Western starting November 21. It will run Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for four weeks. In semester two we will operate at both Fanshawe College and Western.
 
We look forward to sharing our progress with all of you following the November/December outreach efforts.
