Investing in Mental Health in Canada

The Mental Health Commission of Canada published two reports that investigated the cost of mental health in Canada. In any given year, 1 in 5 people in Canada experiences a mental health problem or illness, with a cost to the economy well in excess of $50 billion. This represents 2.8% of 2011 GDP.
