Together to Live

The Ontario Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health (the Centre) created this website as a tool for service providers working with children and youth to help them bring their community together to prevent youth suicide. It was created as part of the Ontario government’s youth suicide prevention plan and comprehensive mental health and addictions strategy. Together to Live is the culmination of ideas and input from a variety of stakeholders across Ontario.

Together to Live supports communities in:

1. Implementing and evaluating youth suicide prevention, life promotion, risk management and postvention strategies using evidence-informed approaches.
2. Mobilizing their members and stakeholders around the collective issue of youth suicide.
3. Learning from each other’s experiences to build capacity to address youth suicide across the province.
