The NCAA Sport Science Institute is committed to providing college athletes with the best environment for safety, excellence and wellness. As a part of this commitment, the SSI recognizes the importance of educating student-athletes about the risks associated with substance abuse. Guided by the latest prevention science and deterrence strategies, and with the collaboration of athletics stakeholders and substance abuse prevention experts, this toolkit is designed to support athletics administrators, in partnership with campus colleagues, reduce substance abuse and promote healthy choices that enhance athletic performance and lifelong health.
