In all aspects of campus life, it is important to consider R-EDIAA (Reconciliation – Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Anti-Racism, and Accessibility) in practices, programming, and policies. With the recent demand for skilled trade workers in the province, it’s important to understand the unique needs of trades students based on the intersections of their identity. This section will explore the current landscape of queer, Indigenous, and women skilled trades students and R-EDIAA considerations that promote equitable access to services and programming.
