Campus Suicide Prevention and Postvention, Part II

This webinar is a follow-up to our March webinar where we looked at high-level guidelines for handling suicide postvention on campus. This session will offer specific examples of policies from campuses that have established prevention and postvention strategies.

Presenters

Cecilia Marie Roberts is the Youth Suicide Prevention Consultant with the Ontario Centre of Excellence for Child and youth Mental Health, where she supports communities across the province to mobilize around the issue of youth suicide. In her role Cecilia Marie has provided leadership to several communities across Ontario in the aftermath of multiple youth suicides.

Alison Burnett is the Director of Student Wellness at the University of Guelph. She oversees health, counselling, and accessibility services, health education & promotion and the Health & Performance Centre (sports medicine and allied health). Alison is a nurse by training and has a background in mental health and has worked at several post secondary institutions.
