Infographic: Young Adult Preferences for Mental Health Information

A study by Mobilizing Minds examining the preferences of young adults when it comes to information about mental health has recently been published in the Journal of Health Communication! In additoin to the study, they also created an infographic to illustrate the findings. Taking into account information content and format, the infographic shows three distinct preference groups that emerged from the study (the virtual group, the conventional group and the low-interest group).  It also illustrates the reasons why improved strategies are needed for providing mental health information to young adults, along with recommendations for providing information in the ways that are most useful and appealing to them.

Have a look at the infographic of the study below and access the full text article here.
