Alcohol consumption remains a leading preventable cause of disease, injury, violence, and death among Ontario youth and young adults. This webinar provides an overview of recent changes to how alcohol is sold, marketed, and accessed in Ontario and the implications for health harms. We focus on events that are hosted under a Special Occasion Permit and provide recommendations for venue owners (e.g. a university or college) to mitigate the risk to patrons, staff, and the public.
